The numbers I got for Fall 2014 and Fall 2015 involved me raising my hand in a room full of counselors during the freshman and transfer UC Counselor Conferences and asking the directors of admissions at each UC campus for them (while each of them stared daggers at me for an explanation of my ongoing saga/conflict with the UCs, read my origin story). Side note: The UCs didn’t used to publish these numbers anywhere (you could find freshman waitlist numbers on the Common Data Set for most UCs and there was a set of Fall 2017 cancellation numbers for freshman and transfer applicants disclosed during a UC Regents meeting).
